We are sometimes asked what we did as children that brought us joy. For me, it was coloring. I didn't have fancy art supplies—just regular crayons and coloring books made of newsprint pages. A few years ago, I began creating coloring pages with the qualities that appeal to me most—simplicity, modern design, and pattern. During the pandemic, I shared the coloring pages on social media for people to download. I also shared simple how-to guides so others could draw their own designs.
